Shoot Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms before booking. By signing below, you (“Client”) agree to them with Unlock Perspective LLC (“Unlock Perspective,” “we,” “us”).
1. Ownership and License
All photos, videos, floor plans, 3D tours, and related media (“Content”) are created by Unlock Perspective, and we keep the copyright. Once the invoice is paid, we grant the Client a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Content to market and sell or lease the specific property shown. The Client may not resell the Content, use it for other properties or services, or give it to third parties for their own use, other than the property’s owner, the listing brokerage, and others directly involved in marketing that property. The Client may not edit the Content in a way that misrepresents the property or removes our work. We may use the Content in our portfolio, website, social media, and other promotional materials unless the Client asks us in writing not to.
2. Digital Alterations and Disclosure
Some of our services, such as virtual staging, virtual twilight, and object removal, digitally change the property’s appearance. Rules for disclosing altered images differ by MLS, brokerage, and local law, and they change over time. The Client is responsible for knowing and following those rules, including labeling altered images where required. Unlock Perspective is not liable for any fines, claims, or disciplinary action arising from how the Client publishes or labels the Content. The Client also agrees not to use artificial intelligence or other tools to further change the delivered Content in a way that misrepresents the property.
3. Access and Property Condition
The Client is responsible for making sure the property is clean, staged as desired, accessible, and ready at the scheduled time. We shoot properties as they are and do not clean, declutter, or rearrange items. If we are asked to open, prepare, or close the property, additional fees may apply. The Client should tell us in advance about pets, security systems, gate codes, hazards, or other conditions that affect access or safety.
4. Homeowner Presence
We strongly recommend that the homeowner and occupants are away during the shoot. If anyone is present, or if the Client is not present and gives no direction in advance, our creative decisions, including composition, lighting, staging, music, and the number of items delivered, will be final.
5. Drone and Aerial Work
Aerial photography and video are provided when conditions allow. We may delay, modify, or skip aerial work because of weather, airspace restrictions, FAA rules, property or neighborhood limits, or safety. If aerial work cannot be completed, we will offer a partial refund for the aerial portion of the order, or reschedule it if the Client prefers. A return trip requested by the Client is handled as described in Section 7.
6. Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellations
Dates and times are confirmed by us after you submit your request. Cancellations or reschedules made 24 hours or more before the appointment are not charged. Cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or arriving at a locked or unavailable property, may be charged a fee. We may reschedule for weather, illness, or safety reasons without charging a cancellation fee.
7. Return Trips
Our pricing covers one visit to the property. If a return trip is needed because of a client change, an additional request, a property that is not ready or accessible, or a request to come back for aerial work we could not complete because of weather or restrictions, a return fee may apply. We will quote the fee before we schedule the return visit.
8. Delivery
Turnaround times shown during booking are estimates that begin after the shoot is completed. Delays can happen because of weather, scheduling, volume, or the complexity of a project, and we will keep you updated.
9. Revisions
Each order includes one round of revisions at no charge, for both photos and video, which must be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Additional rounds, or requests outside that window, may be subject to a fee, which we will quote before we begin. Revisions are made at our discretion. Requests for a different creative approach, a reshoot, or new material may be treated as a new order. Content may not be re-edited by anyone else without our written permission.
10. Payment
Payment is due upon delivery. We will send an invoice by email, payable by card or bank transfer. If the Client chooses pay-at-close through our payment partner, the Client must be approved, and the partner’s terms apply. If the Client is not approved, or the payment partner does not pay us, the invoice becomes due immediately. No late fees apply to pay-at-close orders. Payment must be made, or pay-at-close approved, before any final photos, videos, or other media can be accessed or downloaded. Add-ons requested after booking are billed separately.
11. Liability
Unlock Perspective is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to people or property during the shoot, except where caused by our own negligence. Our total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount the Client paid for the services at issue. We are not responsible for lost sales, missed deadlines, or other indirect losses. The Client confirms that they have the authority to book the shoot and to allow us access to the property.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
13. Entire Agreement
These terms are the whole agreement between the Client and Unlock Perspective LLC for this shoot. We may update them for future bookings, and the version in place at the time of booking applies.
